No we are not allowed to have negative opinions or views of homosexuality or homosexual marriage. We are now expected to be liberal on these issues.
The forces of political correctness are very strong. We live in a politically correct world now. People are being attacked and shunned and subjects of character assassination, if they utter anything which is anything but praising homosexual marriage or homosexual lifestyles.
So very true and a sad day for America. Everything is backwards: most noticeably our values. Liberty should never be threatened for any political agenda.
It matters if you care that the person ensnared in the sin of Sodomy is destined to an eternity in hell-fire unless they turn and repent. It matters if you care about your Country and understand that closing your eyes to this open sinful behaviour (to the point that society even celebrates this behaviour) will continue to coarsen morality as well as spread noxious diseases (the 'recompense that is meet' from these actions).
Yes, this Nation was founded on the principles of Freedom - and the people who founded this Nation understood that Freedom comes only from Jesus Christ and following Him as Lord and Saviour.
That says it all!
You’re right. And we are at a point where all of our liberty is threatened, due to the great power of the politically correct forces, and the power of pressure groups such as homosexuals.
I can’t choose for people, or force my values upon them, they must live their own life. I concern myself with my own salvation. I personally think it is a sin, absolutely, but I don’t concern myself with playing God or denying people the right to make their own mistakes.
That's the way I used to feel.
Not anymore.
Now I'm pissed.
I hear what you are saying. And I basically agree.
I think part of what we see today, is that homosexuals are so brazen and “in your face” with their lifestyle and behavior nowadays.
Liberals will hate me for saying this, but, it was easier in many ways when homosexuals were “in the closet”. In those days, the entire society didn’t have to confront and deal with and accomodate those behaviors.
BTTT
Thanks to the marketing of deviance by Hollywood perverts, people have simply bought into the vernacular set by the mentally deranged and so-called gay lifestyle. Why does what amounts to a man licking/rimming/felching another man’s rear constitute some kind of gay lifestyle? This hallmark of deep perversion has been demonstrated over and over as these deviants smear themselves with excrement, rim each other, and seek hookups with other male deviants in filthy public restrooms where the stench serves as their aphrodisiac. Appropriate sanitation
is completely lacking in their makeup. But hey, the intelligence of the gay way is here to stay, right? Try getting a bit more background in public health implications of such behavior and ask yourself why they are banned from giving blood.
You certainly cannot force a person to change, but every soul is precious and we should endeavor to warn people if we see them marching blindly off to hell. And chastise those that encourage them to do so.
Ezekiel 33:2-9 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
Ezekiel 18:30b-32 ...Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
I’m thinking this is such a hot button issue because many of the homos and their enablers KNOW in their heart of hearts that it’s unnatural, repulsive perversion.
God put into each person a conscience, and I’d guess that only a small % have actually reached what Apostle Paul called “having their conscience seared with a hot iron,” and where they never ever have even a twinge of misgiving about what they’re doing.
So even though they put on a brazen front of hilarious joyful debauchery without limits, in their heart of hearts they KNOW they’re guilty.
But they are not about to repent and admit their error. So they’ve got a hair-trigger violent response when anyone has the temerity to question the right-ness or “normalcy” of their warped, perverse lifestyle.
Merely my humble, searching opinion, of course.
Dungy’s remarks reflect what most people who have managed a large, public organization probably have thought at one point or another in their career.
The point he was making had nothing to do with his personal views on homosexuality. They had to do with managing and effective organization that is focused on winning. I am sure the fans of most teams would not give a hoot nor holler if the team wore pink tights and nipple clamps if they won multiple super bowls. (I am of course exaggerating.)
His point is whether or not adding this person to the roster will help accomplish that task, or will it be a net negative. And the impact is not always on the field—but in the way the team is portrayed in the press and how they gel in the locker room. How much EXTRA time is going to be spent focusing on the whole “gay” issue. Who will manage that? And how will the teammates accept that, sometimes, negative attention.
Consider the player who has worked as hard as this guy, who makes the play of the game, and is asked how being behind a gay guy affected his play.
Believe it or not, this is not the first gay man to play sports. The way he is treated should be based on his ability to play as part of a team (which he as done well his whole life.)
The noise this is going to generate will be fine for a team that is not focused on winning it all this year. I feel sorry for the coach that has to cut this guy—and for this guy when he screws up a play and has to take some heat for it. For it will all be seen through the lens of where he puts his penis. And that is not fair for anyone.
I think it’s funny watching the PC crowd go down the same rabbit hole the Tebow crowd went down insisting everything bad that happens to him is because of some anti-demographic bigotry and never entertaining the possibility that maybe their guy just isn’t good. The great part about this one is the whole kerfuffle proves Dungy right, the fact that we’re even discussing this 7th round 6 slots away from Mr Irrelevant pick shows that he’s clearly a distraction.
So-called gutless Republican or religious leaders like John Boehner, Lindsay Graham, Joel Osteen and Rick Warren.
We have no leaders with courage.
I am sure the fans of most teams would not give a hoot nor holler if the team wore pink tights and nipple clamps if they won multiple super bowls.
...if the team wins multiple super bowls, the fans would be delighted to wear pink tights and nipple clamps themselves...and not be the least bit shy about showing them on prime time TV...
Lets not forget that Dungy was someone who pushed to get Mike Vick back in the NFL.
So what’s your point, that it isn’t Christian to give someone a second chance? Regardless of my personal views on Vick, I understand Dungy’s reasoning.
