That includes Ben Gurion Airport. The airlines are concerned about liability. There is also HUGE money in Tel Aviv routes. It is one of the lucrative routes out of the US. It beats European destinations.

No, it’s not an Obama plot. The attack may have been supported by Obama, but closing the airport is reasonable and maybe even a little overdue. Some pilots have been refusing to fly that route and I’m sure a lot of passengers have cancelled.

The Tel Aviv airport has been a target for some time, and unfortunately Hamas has been having unprecedented success in this latest attack. They tried shelling the airport last week but the missiles met the Iron Dome. However, this week somehow they managed to get one through.

I was supposed to be visiting the Holy Land in October, and I’m hoping this will have calmed down by then. But if not, I’m not going.
