("C14" is in the right sector and is closely linked with the ultra nationalist party "Svoboda". Figure 14 in the name of "C14" means "fourteen words" program of this group professing neo-Nazi views. He arrived in Ukraine on February 28, immediately after the former President Viktor Yanukovych left the country. When nationalists from Kiev, with whom he had contact, headed east, he followed them. In his decision, as he himself admits, particularly influenced by the fact that some of his associates were killed in street clashes. Two months later, he joined the battalion "Azov", which he describes as "nationalistic": - Yes, there are different varieties of nationalists. There are National Socialists, there are ethnic nationalists, there is the so-called nationalists "in quotes" - he says.

The question, how important, in his opinion, plays nationalism or national socialism for the battalion "Azov", he replied: - This is the basis of everything. Nationalism in Ukraine in general plays a significant role. For clarity, I can give you an example: among us, men of the battalion, for obvious reasons, no one Negro - says the Swedish neo-Nazi.

At the same time, he notes that for the separatists many of those whom they called "outsiders", representatives of a different race than himself: - Yes, the "strangers" among many separatists, are Georgians, Chechens, Armenians, - he explains. He said that to be honest, the answer is: Yes. Would otherwise have to lie, and he tries not to do that - he says. Ethnic aspect of this fight is important for him, said neo-Nazi.
