Novoselic was the bassist in the biggest band of my youth, Nirvana. I always kind of liked the guy despite what I thought were his statist leanings.
But what do you know? He has eschewed a lot of these tendencies for real DIY politics. For honest punk politics. Free thinking politics. In many ways free market politics. I like the guy a bit more now and I am interested in learning more about his efforts to reform our electoral system.
He has some good ideas. Scratch that, he has some great ideas. I have to say that I was surprised.

He’s no Will Shatter, I tell you what.
Damn, I feel old.
Seattle was a lot of fun for me growing up, but drugs started making things ugly for a lot of people (mainly heroin). I saw a lot of people end up in terrible situations if not dead. I wasn't that stupid, thankfully.
LOL. He looks like a Republican now.
I grew up in Michigan and Kid Rock and Uncle Cracker were dj’s at my high school’s dance. At the time, I didn’t think much of Kid Rock. lol Little did I know...
I think it was around 89 when I first heard of Nirvana. I loved them right away, especially because the music at that time started to suck with all those damn love song ballads being played. ( Michael Bolton, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, etc..... barf!! )
Was that STP on the poster Stone Temple Pilots? I love that band as well!
Sounds like he grew up.
My favourite 90s bands were Coldplay and Audioslave. Don’t know their politics, don’t care either, but they were quality acts.
Yes, Stone Temple Pilots!
I love Chris Cornell from Soundgarten/Audioslave... I think he teamed up with the guy from Rage Against the Machine, another good band. He's a big lib but I love his sound. I never got into Coldplay but I love Muse. Super Massive Black Hole is my favorite.
