The Tea Party Took Its Name Based On an Act of Deception (You've got to see this)
The Huffington Post ^ | June 29, 2014 | Tim Giago, Founder, Native American Journalists Association

In the past few primary elections the Tea Party has won some and lost some. Lately it's been more "lost some" than "won some."

Several months ago I wrote that the Tea Party was founded on an act of impersonation based on an act of deception. They named themselves and patterned themselves after a bunch of so-called Boston Patriots who decided to rebel over a tax on tea by sneaking aboard a vessel that had received a shipment of tea and dumping the tea into the Boston Harbor. In order to conceal this criminal act from the authorities they dressed themselves up as Mohawk Indians hoping to transfer the blame to the Indian people.

The so-called Patriots who committed this criminal action were too cowardly to stand up and be counted as the heroes they envisioned themselves to be, but instead sought to deceive the authorities by shifting the blame upon the Mohawk and if believed, this act of cowardice could have been deadly to the local Indians.

When a group of Republicans decided they would shake up the Republican Party by forming themselves into the Tea Party, an ultra-conservative wing of the Republican Party, they decided to take a page from the history books and breathe new life into it by taking an extreme stance against federal spending and taxes. The Tea Party brought out its share of wing nuts as supporters and candidates with Sarah Palin of Alaska grabbing the brass ring.

Since they were new and fresh-faced they did manage to get some of their candidates elected and this set the traditional Republican Party back on its heels. They didn't know what to do with the newcomers who were vocal, rude and uncompromising. They also proved to be extreme obstructionists....

Well, OK. So long as they didn't call them "Redskins."

Is the left deliberately letting it slip that they hate this country from its founding? They're not attacking a particular philosophy or political point of view but the very roots of America at this stage.
We've been saying this from day one and now they don't even make much effort to hide it.

TEA Party is more a meme than a formal organization.

...and that's what really scares the crap out of these Leftists. It's a decentralized, self-organizing force. It cannot be destroyed.

Leftists hate a lot of things and love little, if anything.

They’re Injuns. But that’s not a bad thing in itself. They’re Injuns with feathers up their rear, so to speak.

Over 5,000 colonists participated in the fateful meetings at Old South Meeting House that decided the fate of the tea in December of 1773, but only about 100 to 150 men actually boarded the ships to destroy the tea. Participants in the destruction of the tea swore themselves to secrecy and did not acknowledge each other when aboard the ship. Had the men’s names become known to British authorities, they would have been arrested and punished. Even years later, some retained secrecy for fear of lawsuits by the British East India Company.

I thought it to be ironic, that Indians are calling themselves “cowboys”.

Maybe you never played cowboys and Indians as a kid.

A clear indication that they fear the evolution of a new right wing movement that will wipe the Obamanauts off the map...google UKIP and Stephen Harper...both leaders have, or are raising a new conservative political movement from the ashes. The lefties are pooping their panties. The western democracies are rejecting social democracy

Sorry about that. I’m reading this on my phone and didn’t see “Cowboys”. I just went back and scrolled over to see it.

So called patriots.

I guess the author must be quoting Howard Zinn or some other Commie scholar.
