Tea Party candidate Dan Bongino with his Obama bashing and damn Tea Party ideas just barely squeaked by his opponent, 84%- 16% in Maryland’s Sixth. Why is it newsworthy? Because it’s the only competitive district in Maryland for the GOP. Didn’t hear about Dan’s landslide? That doesn’t surprise me, there was hardly a mention of him anywhere.

There are good reasons his primary win is not big news, the main one being that it was a given, his opponent was a nobody with no money. And secondly, the race is a major longshot in November, thanks to the rat gerrymander of that seat. But Bongino is financially competitive, so here's to hoping.
