KUALA TERENGGANU, July 2 – The Kuala Terengganu Magistrate’s Court today sentenced the mother and stepfather of three siblings to 10 years and 13 years’ jail respectively for abusing them.
Norazira Abas, 29, and her husband Mohd Shazwan Shaari, 26, a labourer, pleaded guilty to three counts of abusing the children aged 7, 5, and 2 and a half years, at a house at Taman Perumahan Gong Badak 4 here between March and June this year.
The three children who had been tormented with cigarette burns, splashed with hot water and chained by the legs, besides being slapped and bashed were being treated at the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital here.
Magistrate Rozianti Mohamed Hanaphi ordered Norazira and Mohd Shazwan to serve their jail terms of four years and five years respectively on the first count; three years and four years respectively on the second count; and three years and four years respectively on the third count, consecutively.

AND ... I should say that it’s people like this (ones in the USA) who are the cause of quite a bit of government intervention into families. It’s unfortunate that we all have it suffer under that kind of intervention because of a significant number of absolutely terrible parents like this guy.

Whether you like it or not, that’s the way it is because of these people.
If someone makes a serious accusation about a kid being mistreated and/or molested ... there is going to be state authorities involved whether you like it or not.
If they didn’t investigate and clear the people involved - if something happened (a kid dying or molestation continues for months because of being ignored) the public is going to be calling for “heads to roll” for not taking things seriously and “doing something” about it.
I can see that you’re operating in a world that is constructed inside your own head, and not the world that we actually happen to be living in.

Oh I'm sorry, am I disagreeing with the collective? It seems to me that the world of the original Constitution, the Doctrine of Negative Rights and natural law, the principle that power flows from the people to the government and not the other way around, is something that is also merely constructed in people's heads, and not the world we actually happen to be living in.
So that's that, right? Mommystate collectively out-shrieks the principles of the Constitution, and that turns the fight against human freedom into a done deal? Why, because they are loud, or because YOU chose to abandon principles and throw yourself at their feet?

That’s the thing about “reality” ... agreement or disagreement doesn’t affect it in the least.
No, that's the thing about a slave's obedience to the collective. Slaves obey till they die and understand their thinking processes are irrelevent - by definition. In order to deny their shame, they tell themselves that what they are doing is all of reality.
