Deliver Us From Evil, Deliver Us Some Emails

According to experts in the information technology field, it should be a fairly mundane thing to round up the all of Lois Lerner’s electronic correspondence from her employment at the Internal Revenue Service during 2009-2011. That is, her remaining, hidden emails which have yet to be turned over to congress.

However, it looks as though it may instead take an act of God to get the Obama administration to come clean on anything, especially now, concerning their apparent abuse of power and the official cover-up about having deployed a corrupt and highly politicized IRS to target non-profit Tea Party civic groups for systematic suppression–particularly as a sustained, ongoing means of Nixon-on-steroids, illegal “dirty tricks” throughout Obama’s first term to help ensure his reelection in 2012.

As you know (or should know), the IRS has suddenly gone public with what by most accounts is a preposterous claim; that due to a “computer crash,” it has “lost” numerous official emails from former IRS Obama crony Lois Lerner, sent during a key 2 1/2 year time period. Many of the emails in question were sent to officials at the White House itself, to the Department of the Treasury, and to personnel at other key government agencies.

In the aftermath of this newest Obama IRS tactic of alleging that so many important emails are “missing,” frenzied callers to Washington D.C.’s top conservative talk radio program at WMAL on Monday morning expressed mocking incredulity at the gall of the administration to attempt what outspoken voices in the information technology (“I.T.”) community condemn as such an obvious lie.

Most of the callers who were put on the air on WMAL (to which many congressmen and countless other D.C.-area federal operatives listen each morning) were I.T. professionals in either the federal government sector or the corporate world (or both), active and retired. Unanimously, they all loudly and flatly declared that it is virtually impossible that the Obama administration’s story is anything but a blatant falsehood. They gave detailed, specific technical and legal reasons why there is simply no way that every single one of the emails was not retrievable from somewhere, as a matter not only of normal routine practice in the modern I.T. era, but moreover as legally required federal/IRS protocols, with stiff penalties for failure to do so according to the government’s own strict rules about server back-ups, and what today are common layers of fail-safe electronic redundancy in the I.T. security and record-keeping realm.

Even if Lois Lerner’s–or anyone else’s–computers did “crash,” every single I.T. expert I’ve heard going on record says that the emails are still accessible, without too much technical effort or delay.

The Obama administration spins it a different way. IRS officials are pushing the unlikely line that it’s because of instances of failure to follow the required protocols, budget issues in the expense of data-backup measures, and limitations regarding the use of data storage tapes over time are what led to the purported “loss” of the emails. Furthermore, they’re accusing Republicans of trying to make political hay and gin-up a “conspiracy” out of what they claim is just failure to back-up data, even though there are vast virtual mountains of electronic safeguards against federal data loss.

Of course, as we all are painfully aware, there’s always the NSA–the now-infamous National Security Agency–from whence investigators can demand all the evidence in question, and at least one of our representatives in congress, Rep. Steve Stockman, is already publicly doing so.

When asked by a reporter while traveling aboard Air Force One as to whether the claim of a “technical glitch” being responsible for the alleged loss of the emails is a “reasonable explanation,” incoming White House press secretary Josh Earnest indignantly fired back, “I think it’s entirely reasonable. And it’s fact. You’ve never heard of a computer crashing before?”

This latest obfuscation from the administration comes after many, many months of Obama team obstruction and evasion, repeated and ongoing failure/refusal to cooperate with congressional committee investigations, and plain old marathon foot-dragging.

When subpoenaed to appear before congress last year, Lois Lerner herself first recited an expansive opening statement in which she defiantly declared her alleged innocence at length–then, she suddenly pretended to be entitled to a Fifth Amendment right to not incriminate herself; to just clam up and not answer any questions at all. Thankfully, Rep. Trey Gowdy, a former prosecutor, reminded everyone that once a witness opens their mouth about any matter that is at issue in such a proceeding, they have voluntarily waived the right to be excused from cross-examination. Lerner has since been held to be in Contempt of Congress for that episode, in which she refused to answer their questions.

Doesn’t all this just confirm for us that the emails in question really must contain the “smoking gun” sought by investigators? Otherwise, why would the administration float such an audacious and absurd whopper? I see it mainly as a stalling ploy, to try to buy them time–time to allow another, different sensational disaster, news event, or international emergency to grab the public’s attention away, they hope, sufficiently for consequences to be lessened over this one egregious scandal of many.

It’s getting to be more and more frequent that one of the many bald-faced lies from the Obama administration is so blatant, so preposterous, and so desperately obvious that it’s kind of embarrassing, for a once patriotic and proud American, to try to come to terms with the fact that the country I onced loved, defended, and proudly served now largely resembles a lawless, Third-World cesspit of political corruption.

Is there a way out, a way forward and up, into the light? Into redemption? There is. Scripture tells us there is only one way to that. And it is that Divine intervention, to deliver us from what vexes our mortal and spiritual inboxes, upon which we can and must utterly rely. Recovering our individual and collective souls takes priority, in fact, over Lois Lerner’s emails. But while the former is guaranteed–given our acceptance of Christ’s sacrifice–the latter apparently may or may not happen apart from an outright act of God’s specific will. Clearly, the lower powers have other, darker ideas.

One has to expect that the emails can and therefore, with pressure brought by congress and/or a special prosecutor, will be "found." So, given the likelihood that they contain a smoking gun, this would in a remotely sane society allow us to expect Obama's ouster. Notice I said remotely sane society....

The emails have all been deliberately deleted along with all back-ups.

Criminal, but that’s the Obama administration in a nutshell.

Can someone draw an organization chart of where all the members of the administration whose emails have been lost are situated? Have they identified who received the Lerner e-mails?

I hereby would like to exercise my Fifth Amendment rights, for fear that I might incriminate myself...and besides that, my computer crashed.

The dog ate my e-mails.

Ridiculous claims such as these mean only one thing; this road leads directly back to the “president”.

Now, it seems there are no problems with retrieving even the lowliest IRS employees emails.

It’s just the top IRS administrators and political appointees who have the problem.

Naturally, in any huge multi billion dollar formal organization with rigid record keeping and document preservation regulations with stiff penalties for loss of data, the officers of the organization who are the equivalent of the CEO, President, Vice President ect are given tinniest data storage allocations, because they are just not important enough.

Right .....

IRS AUDITOR: “I would like to see all the data that you have to back up the deductions you are claiming on your income tax. Two hundred thousand dollars seems a bit excessive for business entertainment expenses if you are only grossing three hundred and fifty thousand a year.”

ME: “Actually I will not be able to provide that. I scan all my data into my computer. I do not backup my data nor keep any hard copies. You are just going to have to trust me on this.” My hard drive crashed. I did send all this data to my auditor and 6 other people in the company. Unfortunately all their hard drives crashed. We sent the hard drives to IT specialist to recover the information. Unfortunately not only were they unable to recover the informaion but inadvertantly recycled the hard drives. They do not even know where they are now. I just hate it when this happens.”

IRS AUDITOR: “Do you have a server that all your computers are connected to?”

ME: “Yes”

IRS AUDITOR: “It will be easy to get the data from the server or the back up server to the main server.”

ME: “They crashed also.”

IRS AUDITOR: “Well okay, I trust you and will allow the 200,000 dollar deduction.”

Only question is, is Josh THAT stupid or does he think we are that stupid? Both could apply, I guess.
