A veteran IT professional tells TheBlaze that the IRS claim that the agency lost two years worth of former IRS official Lois Lerners emails is simply not feasible.
On Friday, members of Congress revealed that the IRS would not be able to hand over Lerners emails to and from other IRS employees from January 2009 to April 2011, possibly due to a glitch or crash. Lawmakers were seeking the emails as part of their investigation into the IRS targeting scandal.
Norman Cillo, an Army veteran who worked in intelligence and a former program manager at Microsoft, argued it is very difficult to lose emails for good and laid out six reasons why he believes Congress is being lied to about the Lerner emails:
1. I believe the government uses Microsoft Exchange for their email servers. They have built-in exchange mail database redundancy. So, unless they did not follow Microsofts recommendations they are telling a falsehood. You can see by the diagram below that if you have three servers in a DAG you have three copies of the database.
2. Every IT organization that I know of has hot swappable disk drives. Every server built since 2000 has them. Meaning that if a single disk goes bad its easy to replace.
3. ALL Servers use some form of RAID technology. The only way that data can be totally lost (Meaning difficult to bring back) is if more than a single disk goes before the first bad disk is replaced....

And, not to repeat myself but
WHERE ARE THE SERVER BACKUPS!!
LOL!
This BS is neither feasible or plausible. There is no way that the emails are not backed up or mirrored on multiple servers. Government IT is frequently screwed up but the basics are always there for the big operations like the IRS. It also would not be just her emails lost.
Like all democrats and all of this administration they are lying sacks-o-shit.
The GOP was complicit in the IRS’ assault on the Tea Party!
This is a CRIME! Where the hell is Boehner to grind the House to a halt and declare war against the IRS and force criminal indictments?
He’s googling the meaning of oath.
What is in Boydton VA?
The IRS public relations dept. reminds me of the pet store owner trying to convince the parrot owner that the bird is not really dead, just resting, or the Emerald City guard telling Dorothy & friends that the Wizard just ain’t in:
“We’ve lost it, so sorry, go away, it’s missing, gone actually, try again later. We’re closed, too bad. Goodbye.”
Don’t even get me started on T5. Come on people. Google is your friend, sometimes.
And for the alleged lawmakers who are enabling this crap... how about a charge of Contempt of Constitution..... and Seditious Conspiracy that is not to say Treason... but I think a case can be made for that as well.
Actually, the story is equivalent to saying: I can’t give you my homework because an imaginary dog ate one corner of one of several different copies shoved under couches and on coffee tables all over the neighborhood. [Oh, and there’s also the copy that the spy-guy took a picture of through the window.]

The House ‘leadership’ needs to go. We got rid of Cantor, now let’s dump the other 2.

So, supposedly, just LOIS’S emails disappeared in a “crash” or “glitch”? Emails sent and received over a period of MONTHS and YEARS? And if you can suspend disbelief long enough to accept that such a magnitude of a crash could even occur, how is it that the epic disaster didn’t destroy anyone else’s emails but HERS?
All my tax returns for the next 10 years were also on her computer.
At least the main stream press will believe that.
We have to see the obvious. These emails were not lost from a server crash. They were painstakingly deleted in a way that no computer forensic investigator can detect there was something deleted. On the other hand, the NSA could produce my lost emails from my dead hard drive.
Leaders? You mean the EXEMPT, hated, Congress?
G.O.P. = Gave. Obama. Power.
