I can't sleep, because I have seared visions of all those poor, loyal Iraqi soldiers rounded up, handcuffed with terror in their eyes and forced to speak in a video while cowards in machine guns watch. These poor men, wondering, expecting that eventually someone will rescue them, and they'll be home.
I see some who are obviously veteran soldiers, probably who have engaged in many battles over the years, who were trained by our soldiers, fought besides us and with whom they still have warm friendships.
I can't sleep, because I keep seeing them on their knees, then murdered one by one, tumbling forward like bear cubs.
What kind of people are we that we sit back and do nothing for people with whom our soldiers fought and maybe died with?
What advice is our military giving our president? I'm not in the military, but I see these AlQaida cowards, driving brazenly down a single road in broad daylight, and I wonder...why don't we mow them down with our jets? With our drones? This would send a message to those Iraqi soldiers that we're with you.
Why don't we kill these cowards, then use what ever diplomacy you wish afterwards, but let's start with a clear message.
I feel sick. This is not the America I've known.
Say what you wish about Malaki and anyone else there in power in Iraq, but these people asked for our help, and we don't help?
This is bad people. Very bad.
What kind of people are we?
We don't have enough troops to stabilize a Muslim country like Iraq -- period.
It went from Sunnis imposing their will on Shiites to Shiites imposing their will on Sunnis -- and that is not a stabilizable situation.
Nikos, we are a people who have been infiltrated by the enemy.
Many of us didn’t vote for them but had no power to stop it.
If you think what’s happening in Iraq is bad now - consider the fact that our #1 enemy Iran is closing in on nukes if they don’t already have them.
We are in the early stages of World War III even as our “leader” betrays us on every front.
And FDR seemed just fine with it.
Do you now who negotiated the Yalta Conference that absorbed much of the East into the USSR and made Poland a Communist State?
Alger Hiss.
We are lucky we aren't dealing with a North-Japan, South-Japan scenario.
U.S. Betrayal of it's Allies goes back a Long way.
Who wants to bet we start seeing MANPADs from Libya pretty soon. Funny how those things get around.
Judas effing Priest, no I had no idea, Alger Hiss
It seems like we have really awful negotiators at the ends of wars, and of course Delano was a huge Communist
they are an army of Bergdahls.
It is the will of Obama”Piss be upon Him”the merciful and wise.Salami and bacon to you all, enjoy your fate.
I was talking at dinner about this last night.
Frankly, there is nothing I can DO.
Furthermore, the enemy likely has Stingers from Libya via Turkey, which deters us.
IT is waiting for Baghdad to fall, so IT can say, “See? What difference does it make,” all live on TV.
I hate that IT has gone golfing and fundraising. Again. With our people over there, trapped. IT has no soul and HATES this country.
People who voted for IT get what they deserve.
Roger that. I can't find the right word either. He, Obama and Hildebeast, are all truly despicable people. I would say, evil incarnate.
And...that is the problem.
You mean like 9/11? I thought that would wake people up, but they went back to sleep, rather quickly.
They were Muslims - they lived as Muslims and died as Muslims.
Muslims accept that their tribe fights the other tribes, their clan fights other clans, their family fights other families, the brothers fight their father, and each Muslim fights his brothers,
Yes, they are savages.
Islam does that to its adherents.
Only when America follows the revealed wisdom of St. Ann (Invade them, Convert them, or kill them) will Islam cease to threaten mankind.
Hint: Read my tagline.
It actually gets worse from there. Now, *who* do you think was the first 'head' of the UN (ie; the guy who chaired the meeting that gave *that* organization its form)? That's right, the same Alger Hiss. Fellow really got around...
the infowarrior
I got a feeling ISIS is taking a page out of his book.
Unless we do something about Islam SOON, within the next five or ten years, we will start seeing scenes like that in the West.
We will see it in France. We will see it in London. We will eventually see it in Dearborn, Michigan and other places in the US.
That is what Islam IS. They will incessantly work to increase their power and influence. They will incessantly work to intimidate anyone from standing up to them, and try to kill anyone who opposes them (like they murdered Theo Van Gogh on the street in Amsterdam), until they decide they have enough power.
Then they will strike.
A "multicultural" society lacks the cohesiveness to survive an attack by a large cohesive enemy.
Iraq is part Sunni, part Shiite, and part Kurd (who, while being a mix of Sunni and Shiite, have their own ethnic identity which supersedes any religious alignment with Arab Muslims). It's hard to produce a common loyalty.
ISIS is homogeneously hard-line Sunni. They are very cohesive. That's why they are currently winning. The only thing that will stop them is for Iraqi Shiites to get their shiite together.
No doubt -- as they soak up reruns of "Vampire Diaries" as well.
They are not taking action because they WANT ISIS to win. These are the people Obama has been giving arms to in Syria, who have decided that taking over Iraq is easier than winning against Assad.
What kind of people are we? we slaughter millions of innocents and embrace homosexuality and all kinds of other trash.
Ask yourself, would they have been marching down that single road, in a country where everybody remembers the "Highway of Death", if they had not been given assurances, from a VERY high level, that the US Air Force would sit this out?
