Virginia voters on Tuesday chose congressional candidate David Brat, an underfunded, tea party-supported economics professor, over House Majority Leader Eric Cantor in a stunning Republican primary election.
And U.S. Rep. Kerry Bentivolio (R-Milford) sees that as a good sign in his race against Republican fundraising juggernaut David Trott.
Lie to someone else boy. You’re the one pimping a hand picked chamber maiden.
Kerry, Ted Yoho, Paul Broun, Walter Jones are closer to Steve King than the Pauls on immigration.
The first 4 stay in office because their views on invading Syria are popular not because of ongoing Ron Paul backing.
Trott has literally said nothing on immigration until Cantor lost.

My friend Congressman Steve King is a true conservative leader. We worked together on the Farm Bill—see what he has to say:
Mainstream conservative Hero Trey Gowdy on getting undermined by King:

In response to Kings comments, Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said reprehensible and Did you hear his five minutes? Gowdy asked a scrum of reporters about Kings statement. He took one line from my opening statement about a remedy that lasts a lifetime and lectures me about the rule of law. I was a prosecutor for 15 years.
When children eat a grape at the grocery store or eat a piece of candy waiting in line before mom or dad pays for it we dont have them arrested for petty larceny, he added.
Gowdy and Mulvaney are pro-amnesty. Steve King is so uncouth.

Where is Trey Gowdy the hero? Cantor’s hand picked immigration czar.
“I’m really a Ronald Reagan Republican I’m not really a Ron Paul person. I respect Ron Paul a great deal,” said Kerry Bentivoli (R-MI), who has libertarian leanings just like the retired Texas congressman who ran for president last year.

It’s good to hear Bentivolio distancing himself from the Paulistinians; he was such a political neophyte when he first ran in 2012, it is possible that when he embraced the Paultards with both arms back then (and he did, and they him) it was more out of ignorance of what Paulbots believe than anyone else.
But until he proves that he’s excised that Paulist tumor from his brain, I’d prefer Trott or some other genuine conservative with Reaganite views.
Anyone who knows Economics at all knows that an unlimited source of cheap labor destroys the supply and demand curve for labor and the system collapses. FWIW, Brat has a 100% score from Numbers USA and he's been the most articulate about the impact caused by the invasion of the US and the negative impact it has for workers.
Brat has absolutely no voting recird on any political issue. We’re all assuming that he will vote 100% consistently with his promises, which my experience with elected officials has been that rarely occurs. We’ll see what happens if and when his Paulistinians overlords issue a diktat on amnesty to aid Prince Rand.
I trust Numbers USA. They've stayed very focused on stopping the invasion of the US (their terminology is more polite) and on demanding EVerify as the law. They give Brat a 100% approval rating. Since he's an Economics professor, I'd be hopeful that his view is based on knowledge.
As far as the Ron Paul - Rand Paul situation goes? They need us and we need them at this point. Why? To stop people from voting for a status quo dem or 'pub. Besides that, I don't fear them as much on stopping the invasion as I did before. The situation is now so far out of hand that Rand Paul seems to have taken an "enforcement first" stance.
This is Rand just two days ago, taking a position that seems far from “enforcement first”: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3166595/posts
Rand said Cantor lost because of NSA Spying.
Brat said Cantor lost because of amnesty.
Brat would be thrown out of congress in 2016 much easier than Cantor with 8 terms under his belt.
Brat’s 1 vote is a lot less powerful than the person who sets agenda. Especially in the house.
