OK, it's primary day...we're all nervously awaiting the results of several key races..so until the polls close, I thought we could kill a little time thinking ahead..while we digest Marco Rubio's announcement that he's thinking about running..
Assuming West isn’t considered for VP, I would like to see him made head of the VA. Can you imagine the weeping in that organization?
Good choice regarding Rep. Goudy. In a Cruz administration I’d like to see Dr. Carson as our Surgeon General, Sarah Palin as Secretary of the Interior, and John Boehner as the Head Waiter at the house cafeteria because it’s about time he actually serves people rather than serving himself.

It's Health and Human Services now (Department of Education is separate), but I agree with your point. Kathleen Sebelius is mangling the job of HHS Secretary, while Arne Duncan is failing in the Education position.
That’s a definite possibility...but if there’s even any hint of it until after the committee wraps up..the Dems will use it to smear the committee as a political hatchet job..

Cruz / West - Cruz / Walker...that’s a great ticket.
But quite frankly my heart yearns for “anyone” that loves this country and can restore this country to greatness and will “fundamentally transform” the nation back to America.
I just hope and pray that whoever it is can fix all the damage done by this dip $hit and his clowns — My children and grandchildren deserve the same country - hell a better country than I grew up in and right now I am very sad for my kids and my future grandkids if we don’t fix our nation.

Alan West is the first that comes to my mind. After that, Mike Lee or someone like him.
The job of being the next president trying to reverse the mess we now have would suck. What would you do? How could you make changes without appearing to be Atilla the Hun or Simon LaGree and sealing the outlook that you would only be a one term president and unable to finish what you started? It would take more than one term to see positive results and the shock of the austerity you would have to implement would be so devastating to the ones you took the lollipops away from it would probably cause riots. The media would be all over your ass every day and your message would be lost or twisted beyond recognition.
The only way I could think of doing it would be with brutal honesty and yet there are things out of the bad like gays in the military, all female sub crews, LGBT month, massive give-aways and such that are ideals that have no place in a conservative God centered nation. I think we are not a conservative God centered nation any longer. That is the problem. We have met Reagan’s terms and let slip a generation of liberty principles in our schools. Now it has to be lost and consequences felt before we have hope of getting it back.
Look at his credentials, qualifications and background. How could he have been anything but a joke?
Five years and I’m burnt out.
