I think I like the way Steve Berman writes. Not too caustic, doesn’t rely on sarcasm, but with plenty of ZINGS!
Bookmarked his blog.
It’s nice to dream, but these agencies control to grow in size and power, under both Dem and Rep. administrations. Pols get a lot of face time bloviating about how they plan to bring these agencies under control, but nothing ever happens.
Can you name the FOUR branches of gov’t?
Executive
Legislative
Judicial
Regulatory
The operative term for eliminating/reducing the regulatory reach of the EPA is:
diminishing returns
"Basically, the EPA has always been a Department of Redundancy Department. Since its inception almost 44 years ago, the EPA has created the Office of Fake Science, the Office of Global Warming Worship, and the Office of Energy"
Actually, I think we should keep the EPA. And we should issue every single one of them, including the paper pushers, a butyl rubber chemical suit and protective mask, a mop, and a bucket.
Then set them to work cleaning up the most polluted places in America.
It would be worth a lot more than $350 billion to the economy to be rid of the EPA.
Those two depts. should have been shuttered long ago but just let any president try it. EPA will bring on a cacophony of screech from Sierra Club nut jobs and every progressive in the country. Dept of Educ will bring the same pain from the teacher’s union, blacks and progs. That’s why no likely 2016 presidential candidate will suggest it. Only Newt ever had the stones to suggest it.
