With the NBA (and NFL) now totally beholden to TV for revenue, the players are essentially reality show stars whose only purpose is to put on a good show for the TV audience. The leagues themselves are enslaved to the networks - which is why all of the PC crap is being forced on them. It’s no longer important to win - it’s important to keep the network suits happy and keep the gravy train running. My guess is that predetermined, scripted outcomes are just around the corner if not already happening. I for one, lost interest in the NBA years ago, and I’m rapidly losing interest in the NFL as well.
