There are some good things in this article, but this paragraph is utter nonsense:

In the late 1920s, German Jews voted for Hitler’s National Socialist Party, only to become victims of the Holocaust a decade later. They chose to ignore Hitler’s anti-Semitic rhetoric, believing that it was merely for domestic consumption. They doubted that Hitler could be bad, much less evil. After all, he was a socialist!

German Jews did not vote for Hitler. Antisemitism was his principle platform, and Jews knew it. They did vote for the Socialist Party (not the Nazi "National Socialist" Party), and the Socialists were, along with the Jews, the first to be sent to the concentration camps.

The author is also wrong to describe Karl Marx as a Jew (although Hitler did like to call him that). Marx's grandparents were Jews, but his parents converted to Lutheranism before Karl's birth. Marx never identified as a Jew, and his writings are full of anti-semitism.

That is a little overly neat isn't it?

Wikipedia describes it as long line of Rabbis, with Rabbis on both sides of the family, and Karl's mother being Jewish, and his father having converted to avoid persecution, but also choosing a Jewish wife, who did not convert.

Exactly! I was going to make the same very important point. (There's more than enough anti-Semitism out there without having Marx falsely thrown around as a purported "Jew".)

Although I'm in general agreement with the posted Alex Markovsky piece, there are some other errors of fact and history in it that could stand correction:

(1)"Social justice," a term devised by Marx himself, does NOT square with the traditional Jewish concept of charity (to be given by the Jew privately to those (mainly Jewish) less fortunate. The traditional Jewish concept of charity is NOT a governmental function. Nor does the Jewish concept of "justice" mesh with the Marxist "social justice" concept. The traditional Jewish concept is of "righteous" justice, not of a centralized coercive government robbing one person to give to another to make for (false) "equality."

(2) Contrary to the posted piece, the large majority of Jews in Nazi Germany did NOT vote for the Nazi Party.

(3) Though the percentage of Jews in the original Soviet government exceeded the percentage in the general population, it's quite an exaggeration to call the Russian Revolution of 1917 a "Jewish Revolution." In fact, the regime was marked by anti-Semitism from its onset.

(4)To state that "Republicans do not care about Jewish interests because Jews do not vote for them regardless..." is bordering on insanity. Even in 2012, about a third of all Jewish voters voted Republican, even according to 'Rat-run polls. Maybe the writer never saw the GOP presidential primary debates, the GOP national convention, or the GOP platform, but there were obviously appeals there to pro-Israel voters, Jewish and Christian. The Democrats, by contrast, couldn't even agree that Jerusalem was Israel's capital.

That Jews voted for Hitler is a classic Jew hater canard. Among several, including the classic that Marx was a Jew. Wouldn’t blame him on the Lutherans either, he failed in his early religious writings. Russian Jews obviously loved communism however, as evidenced by the fact that they began leaving en mass in the 1880s.
