I heard this wonderful song again recently as bumper music while listening to conservative talk shows this week, and it just feels natural to share with my FRiends. Any comments are welcome.

I won tickets to see The Smithereen’s from a KZAP radio contest in Sacramento. I didn’t really know who they were but for their airplay at the time, but I was really impressed with the performance. I recall that I dragged my little brother along to that gig, and we had a great time.

I agree. However, Triumph also made some amazing music. I’ve been a big Rush fan since 198x when I first heard Red Barchetta or Tom Sawyer. My favorite songs of theirs at that time were, of course, Xanadu, The Trees, 2112, and Cygnus XI.

Totally agree. They were compared to Rush around the same time and never got the publicity then. Rush is on a whole other level.

Remember April Wine?

YES!!!! Have their albums (vinyl) .... "Sign of the Gypsy Queen" is a perennial favorite.

Deep Purple were the Guinness book loudest band.

Probably broken by now, but they had it and in quality of music, probably outstripped any that took it from them
