I’ve enjoyed scary amusement park rides in the past, been on some wild roller coasters. But, I’ve lost my ability to understand why on this one. At least it rotates for deceleration at the bottom so the g force is against the bottom of the seat instead of your neck. People who wouldn’t dream of bungee jumping or sky diving will get on this and have a heart attack, vomit will be streaming backwards in the wind. No thanks.
You’ll get a nice view of all the trailer parks.
Just wow...Florida sure is flat.
We had a ride at Astro World that was pretty scary. Going up wasn’t so bad but when you got to the top, you were moved out onto a ledge one very loud clink at a time and, finally, one long very quick drop to the bottom with a slight roll up to slow you down. First time up didn’t know when exactly the drop would occur which was all part of the suspense. After two or three times it was a piece of cake.
My goal this year was to get back up to Cedar Point for Top Thrill Dragster (Best.Ride.Ever) and the 17 other state-of-the-art coasters there...but this new ride in Tampa has me reconsidering!

Let’s just ban all fun. There’s work to be done. Who the hell do these people think they are?
Linear acceleration doesn’t bother me... dropping does.
What’s with all the unhinged doom and gloom comments on this thread about an amusement park ride? The ride sounds awesome.
Not exactly where I was going, but maybe I’m tamer than most people who need their hearts pumping and bodies sweating from the thrill. You know you can get that by sleeping with your spouse too....no body slamming thrill drop of 335’ necessary.
Not if you're doing the barfing. You'll be wearing it.
WEll since you are a future snake eater, you could add a little spice to your life and grill up some rattlesnake...it tastes like Chicken, or so I’ve been told. Add some salsa, or hot sauce and life gets warm and fuzzy. Just don’t do it before your 335 ft plunge thrill ride.
+1000
The excitement people get who are going to Florida eludes me. I live in the mountains so maybe that’s why....it is flat, swampy, hot, and being invaded by foreigners.
For some of us it's not a binary choice...we get both!
And both with the same beloved of 42 years.
Mrs. Prov1322 saw the Falcon's Fury video and said we should plan trips to both Busch Gardens and Cedar Point!
And now you know some of the many reasons why we have been happily married for these 4+ decades...!
So it’s not your thing. That’s cool. You seem to be deriding those who enjoy the big boy rides. That’s an odd stance to take, but I guess it’s so very common on FR these days.
I’m not deriding anyone...ride all you want. I just find it humorous that only thrilling, heart stopping events seem to excite people anymore. Big boy rides...have at em.
Too bad our politicians can’t put on ‘their big boy pants’ and help the country get jump started in the economy by creating some exciting jobs.
Congrats, and glad to hear there are still those living it up with their spouses.
And is is possible for the ride to fail and leave the riders stuck at 335 ft?

THAT is a very good point...
