The co-founder of and chief strategist for one of the biggest tea party organizations is coming out in support of overhauling the nations immigration laws, a bold statement that could energize advocates and alienate conservatives.

The TPE apparently spends most of its income on itself.
“We have to turn the page,” says Simon campaign strategist Sal Russo.

The modern Tea Party was started to free up the market, including but not limited to the labor market.
Ron Paul, Rick Santelli, Koch Brothers, etc. Either recall from memory or at least look it up.
wow
That is a flat out scam.
Where is the FBI !
I was just told that Russo is a GROVER NORQUIST STOOGE!
THAT explains everything!
Why should I be bothered by their support of Angle, O’Donnell, and Miller? I want endorsements based on trust and tea-party values. Not on amorphous notions of electability, as deemed by establishment GOP scumbags. That’s Karl Rove’s role. Angle, O’Donnell and Miller are still fine by me, and I have no doubt in my mind that those three would have made solid senators.
No damned amnesty— none zero ever!
No surprise here. Dick Armey, the founder has always supported amnesty. I’ve always been suspicious of the group because of it.
Correct BECAUSE it will destroy AMERICA AND THE AMERICAN WORKER!
Why should I be bothered by their support of Angle, ODonnell, and Miller?
You might not be stuck with obamacare.
A backstabbing POS establishment RINO will never get my vote. They can all go choke to death on ground glass as far as I’m concerned.
If the fate of America hinges on that, so be it. I frankly don’t believe America has many years left to go anyway, so it’s entirely moot.
As you must be well aware, Tea Party does not have recognizable and nationally known leaders. What makes the tea party is the people who want to belong to it. It matters little who financed it or started it. The main reason Tea Party grew is because of the smaller government principle (which translates into less intrusive, less spending gov’t) attracts many conservative minded people.
So yes, it is a mixture of libertarian ideas and fiscal conservatives.
I frankly dont believe America has many years left to go anyway, so its entirely moot.
The way things are going, I agree.
Look for Sal to get some big donations from the Chamber.
Sal Russo is not stupid.
Apparently The Tea Party Express feels they can raise more money
from the amnesty folks such as big business than they can from
grassroots. And do it under the guise of being a conservative group.
Co-oped or bought out are good descriptions.
Is there anyone left that isn’t willing to sell out to the pro-amnesty cabal for a price?
And that was and still is a serious shortcoming. It's not quite yet too late to remedy.
