Now that Detroit has been sucked dry by Democrat criminality and union greed, the Chinese are eager to become America’s new wave of “homesteaders.”
As Detroit continues to crumble and disappear in its current form a “Chinese Phoenix” may be rising out of the ashes. Chinese buyers are scooping up dilapidated homes throughout the once great Motor City in hopes of turning the town into a “little Beijing.”
The question here becomes: How is this happening? The governor of Michigan, Republican Rick Snyder, has already made a formal request to Obama’s Homeland Security for 50,000 special immigration visas to accommodate the expected wave of Chinese settlers who will rebuild Detroit. These special visas will be given to professionals who agree to

Chinatowns are tourist destinations in many American cities. If the biggest Chinatown of all can rise out of the ruins of Detroit, wouldn’t that be a good thing?
If the alternative is that Detroit remains a wasteland, I think we should look at this idea and allow Chinese investment.

But how do we get this idea passed Spike Lee, who mourns for the loss of black ghettos and black culture, when non-black residents start moving in???
I really doubt that many of the Chinese who would get these investor visas would actually come to the U.S., much less settle in Detroit. Many of the Chinese applying for investor these only want them as a bolthole if (when) China blows up. Canada recently rejected all of the Chinese applications for their investor visas.
Just wait until t3he Chinese run into the Islamists of Dearbornistan.
Maybe Spike could work out an agreement to establish a “Homietown” section of the city.
They'll probably deal with them with a whole lot more courage that Americans do.
It’s interesting to think, that Chinatowns and other ethnic neighborhoods of cities attract visitors for the food and culture, but the exception to this are the black ghettoes. Black neighborhoods just don’t have this sort of tourism.
As long as these new immigrants 1) Don’t limit non Chinese from both moving and interacting in old Detroit, and 2) Are loyal to the USA and not the Chi-com government. Either of these two are violated and we HAVE A BIG problem!
It would be interesting if the Chinese section is split off into being its own municipality, with its own local government, and its own police force. If the new Chinatown is compact enough, and EVERYBODY gets a CCW, it might be able to hold its own.
