He must not be black, gay, or willing to kiss another man on national tv. We'd hear about it then.
Broken ribs and numerous contusions = beaten to death while handcuffed.
Obvious to me, the teen was not aware having a minor amount of marijuana is a misdomeanor but trying to conceal the same is a felony. Sad, but we now have this massive police state apparatus using these powers at will without regard for any sense of balance. Armed to the teeth, physically buffed up, protected by body armor, and wearing masks in some cases. This army will be deflected to other duties like rounding up firearms when the go order is given.
Be careful what you ask for when voicing what you want or you might just get it. Trillions spent on equipment and salaries rather than closing the borders for far less money.
It’s going to be funny when cops kill someone you care about.
What I don’t get is the need to poke the sharp object down the throat. If they were drugs, he needs to go to the hospital and have his stomach pumped. Alternatively, plastic bags should come out intact at the other end. A mouth is not a toilet.
"Official details"? Wouldn't you rather know the truth?
I’m wondering the same thing. The man in the photo is black, was the teen? What color was the cop?
Maybe the ‘female’ officer was exceptionally butch? Or the ‘male’ officer a bit efeminate?
A mouth is not a toilet.
And cops should not be doing exploratory surgery.
It’s an upside down world.
Sticking a sharp object down someone’s throat would seem to me to qualify as an “unreasonable search or seizure” don’t you think? I guess the Bill of Rights does not apply when we’re having a war on drugs.
Ja wohl, Herr Obersturmfuhrer!
Chokehold.
HOW DARE YOU DEFEND POLICE SHOVING A SHARP OBJECT DOWN A KIDS THROAT. WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU.
If the officers involved are of the Obama protected class the reverends will not be booking a flight to Alabama.
From the story: Drugs were never found in the teens throat, stomach, or bloodstream.
Seems like there's some serious contradiction there... If the autopsy mentions the possibility of a drug overdose with no drugs detected, I think the family has a pretty good shot at winning the case.
That said, the people really need to look at these cases and decide if possible drug dealing should be a death penalty offense, and if not, then start restraining their police departments.
What photo? I saw a picture of a white kid.

Kid’s mom is going to own this police dept., of course the insurance company will write the check so there won’t be any real accountability.
FTA:Because of the circumstances of this event, it is difficult to discern if the decedent died from a drug overdose or an asphyxia event exacerbated by either the occlusion of the airway by the foreign object, a possible vascular occlusion associated with the neck restraint, or from a combination of all the events that transpired during this incident.
Sounds like the police were trying to fish something from his throat.
Sure way to stop a suspect from swallowing!
These police have been watching too many Three Stooges episodes while inhaling their donuts.
