That was Brother Jed holding the sign, wasn’t it? He’s been taking abuse from college students for the last 30 years. Maybe not quite as demonstrative as from this thing (the voice sounded female). He told my friend who was the director of a campus ministry that ‘he’d start the conversation, stir the pot, leave town, and the ministries can continue the process.’ My friend said that the ministries looked forward to his coming (with his wife - Sister Cindy) - more positives than negatives from the visits.
