How's this for a Throwback Thursday? These. Are. AMAZING!

This is a whole new level of photoshop. There are tons of photos brought to life with color at the Colorized History section of Reddit. I picked out 15 that I thought were particularly cool. I had to force myself to stop at 15 or this would be the post that never ends.

A friend sent an old, damaged family photo to me for rescue a couple of years ago. Using Recolored and Photoshop, I was able to turn the old image into the new image shown on the right In case my html coding doesn't let this image appear, the URL is http://earglasses.com/images/Demo.jpg Because of the extent of the damage in the original image, the project took hours. My friend's mother is the girl shown in the snapshot. But the frankness and intelligence evident in the eyes of my friend's grandmother, who stands at the rear, immediately caught my attention.
