The Earth hasn’t warmed in 17 years. The Arctic ice cap haven’t melted by 2013 as Al Gore suggested in 2007. Instead like the Antarctic ice cap it has grown. Nearly every computer model created by global warming scientists has turned out to be a massive exaggeration if not outright false. Despite all of this the UN has doubled down on their extremist global warming/climate change theories. Meanwhile Adam Weinstein of Gawker wants to imprison “climate change deniers.” Rather than have a spirited scientific debate, Weinstein wants the matter declared settled science. As George Will mused several months back, when politicians declare science settled they’ve lost. That ought to be extended to political operatives.

i can’t believe the US government has banned lightbulbs for a a hoax called global warming. it is so shocking this could happen in America a free country.And the media hid it from the public that the government banned lightbulbs. the media is the problem the enemy. i hate the government . they are pure evil . i hate democrats. instead of the news media showing what the government is doing (like banning lightbulbs and Obama’s IRS oppressing conservatives)they show us Trayvon martin, adam lanza, global warming hoax, olympics, sports, and a missing plane.

I didn’t think so (I did not read the whole thing). There actually was a debate about whether the craters we see were caused by rocks falling from the sky. Barringer Crater in Arizona was thought to be of volcanic origin because it was silly to think that a rock the size of a soccer field could fall from thin air.
There was a published paper in 1912 that repeated the settled science that meteorites were the result of lightning fusing atmospheric dust.
Another long-running debate was whether finding a large boulder perched on a hill was a proof of the biblical Flood or the result of a ludicrous new theory that sheets of ice a mile thick pushed the boulder there.
This is a mindset that Libs apply to any disent from their orthodoxy. If they had their way, anyone who disagreed with anything they did would end up in jail or a psych hospital. Just look at the history of liberal statist societies — Communist Russia, North Korea, etc. Its the natural impluse of a liberal to want to jail or eliminate anyone who disagrees with them, period.
