UPDATE: KRQE-TV has updated their story and now reports the flag is flying once again inside the Wells Fargo location:
A U.S. flag that had been taken down at a New Mexico bank, is flying once again.
According to Wells Fargo officials, the flag that was hanging inside their Los Lunas branch had been taken down because it was displayed incorrectly.
After complaints from an employee, the flag has been put on a flagstaff and now hangs in the foyer of the bank.
South of San Francisco there is a small ag city called Morgan Hill.
On Cinqo de Mayo two years ago two boys went to school wearing shirts featuring an American flag —they were sent home by the principal.
Calif Supreme Court came back a month ago saying everything was OK —they could do that.
Anyone who complains that the Flag is offensive is themself offensive and should be taken down.
What is Wells Fargo doing as a business, that attracts such people?
Please...some Freeper with hundreds of millions with Wells, walk in and close your account. I fired BofA a month ago and stated that I did not like conducting business in spanish. Schwab seems a good choice since the now have banking and there are no signs in spanish in the lobbies and they don’t ask you to press 1 for English.
Wells Fargo took US dollars during the bailout. Not pesos!! Just another reason not bank there! “Pinched bancos! We don’t need know stinking bancos!”
Remember when New Mexico was cleaner than the old one?
Video says that the old flag was mounted with “tacks,” likely the reason for complaints.
