Horse pucky, there is no dilemma because the Bible clearly defines homosexual actions as sinful while also stating love the sinner.
Great insights - thanks for sharing yoiur viewpoint on the subject.
I can’t argue your point.
The only thing I don’t agree with Prager on, is that he states that the only “central distinction in sexual morality was the distinction between active and passive roles.-—the gender of the object...is not problematic.”
That wasn’t particularly true with the Greeks, especially the philosophers who studied nature and teleological ends like the Athenians.
The Spartans ignored philosophy entirely-—they were the odd ones whom removed boys at 7 from the home and forced them to live in barracks with the same sex until age 30. This was a warping of the child who was partnered with a mature male to be trained for battle and used for sex.
It is not unlike the segregation in muslim nations and is why homosexuality—especially pederasty is ‘normal”. (Walid Shoebat stated that the Saudis prefer boys for sex.) The men in Afghanistan don’t train the boys for valuable trades/soldiering-—they just use them for sexual recreation and they remain ignorant and will use boys in harems when they grow up—as trained.
But most Greek City States would always guard their sons and boys—the elites didn’t want men to rape their sons. They even enacted laws and hired guards to prevent it.
Here is an interesting article on Ancient Greece for those so inclined.
That **is** funny. :)
Dude!
I gotta keep an eye on you ALL the time.
No more going out in public without a Handler, and I DON’T mean BROOKE!
It is a malady, a disorder, an abnormality, an aberration.
Let’s just sum it up...perverts.
“Homosexuality is much more complex than it appears on the surface..”
This is hogwash-—homosexuality is a simple fixation in Latency; immaturity. The person is unable to “mature” and appreciate the “Other”—true diversity—because of childhood trauma...mostly sexual abuse but it can be peer rejection and emotional or neglect in very early childhood (Psychogenesis by Moberly). Idolatry and Narcissism is always much easier than maturity and selflessness and the ability to love the “other”.
The warping of young children is fairly simple, especially for boys. Boys have a harder time in early childhood because they have to separate from the Mother (autonomy) but then re-identify with a male role model. Without this modeling and embedded interaction between mother and father—worldview/object of desire can be distorted and the boy is easily confused.
Mostly, homosexuals are abused, which embeds strong, irrational emotions concerning the object of desire, during childhood which are not easily shaken.
OK, not being any kind of "expert" in the area, and no, I didn't spend the night at a holiday Inn Express last night, and basing this on "common sense," I'd say it is a choice. And not a good one. If one accepts that "lifestyle" as normal, you have a mental disease. Even if you worship "Mother Nature" or "Giea" or another man made god, you are a damaged individual and actual biology (or what ever Ogy you want to apply,) and natural selection will kill you.
Thought I explained, that Ms. Brooke was fer domestication services....;-)
Sorry I got SAST (short attention span theater)

Can’t anyone have fun in a thread? I’m sick and damned tired of homo behavior thrust into my face. I never said I accept homosexuality, and I think that you read too much into funny posts...I loves every square inch of MrsSgtBob’s hot bod.....are ya pickin’ up what I’m puttin’ down?
Songs from my childhood, interspersed with Englbert Humperdinck songs....
Thanks to that particular use of that word “lesbian”, the inhabitants of the island of Lesbos nowadays call themselves Lesvonian.
And I am a lesbian trapped in a male body! LOL.
Sure you can have your fun. You seem to take offense though that others might not, that is okay. Actually, your comments were funny and not offensive.
Guess I gotta learn a new language;-(^)
