He’s the child of a loving God just as we all are, and a sinner, just as we all are. The Christian response is to pray for him, that God help him see past his poisonous, misguided and warped religious views, that he repents and is forgiven his sins, while he still can. Not an easy thing to do, mind you, but nobody ever said it would be easy.

We don’t know if he is a child of God, not everyone is. But if he repents and looks to Jesus for forgiveness of his son’s he will be adopted as a sin.

I wanted to post in response to some others, but you've said it all with your insightful, possibly inciteful, post.

We are cautioned to not let our mouths condemn us, something I've been aggressively guilty of and am trying to repent for and sin no more.

T'ain't easy, as you have said. Some folks are very difficult to forgive, let alone love, as we are commanded to do.
