"Trans (without the asterisk) is best applied to trans men and trans women, while the asterisk makes special note in an effort to include all non-cisgender gender identities, including transgender, transsexual, transvestite, genderqueer, genderfluid, non-binary, genderfuck, genderless, agender, non-gendered, third gender, two-spirit, bigender, and trans man and trans woman."

Well, there U go.

“It” would cover the proper address.

Mr., Mrs., and Miss are not needed, though it is a breach of common manners. Ms. would be very inappropriate, especially if one is not sure what It is.

“A what?” makes sense. Sadly, that would result in shrill screeching that could cause permanent damage to one’s eardrums.
/silliness off
“Ew.….” is for private use only. Public use of the term could cause foaming of the mouth. That leads to spittle. Spittle can be deadly to one’s health.

Insistence of using Ew and A what? would include a face shield, disinfectant and earplugs.

Owing to me chemistry degree, should I consider myself an “ortho-sexual” and if so, should I then consider the term “straight” an insult and be offeneded?

Possibly...
