This is brilliant.
I normally have a perennial Oscar piece I trot out (here), and in the past I would do agitprop based on the nominees of the year. I didn't do it this year because I paid absolutely positively no attention to that stuff this time around. It just wasn't on my radar.
I suspect I'm not alone, the cultural relevance of the season of narcissists engaging in self-congratulation has definitely been waning since I was a child. As long as Hollywood remains a godless, leftist cesspool that's a good thing.
Assuming this is a real pic.
Who made it ?
I recall a number of years ago, a group of hard core conservatives that would put out this type of stuff.
I can’t remember their website.
I have no idea! I would love to hook up with them though since I live in Southern California.
They put out some really cleaver stuff.
I’m sure there is a Freeper here that remembers.
I’ll do some digging in the meantime.
My first thought is/was “conservative underground”, but as I say it I know this is not them.
They seem to be a conservative forum. I’m not sure how active they are, but there may be some folks the know about this and the stuff I’m referring to.
I believe that was Protest Warriors.
I believe that was Protest Warriors.
That’s them !!!
well done.
I knew a Freeper would rescue me.
The “Protest Warriors”

It looks like they may have moved on.
The last update is from 2007.
You people really are funny.
What can I get for my 1984 “Motobecane, Mirage sport” ?
Garage kept.
I’ve been on this for years now.
Look up “Culture Jamming”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_jamming
Culture jamming (name coined in 1984[1][2][3]) is a tactic used by many anti-consumerist social movements[4] to disrupt or subvert media culture and its mainstream cultural institutions, including corporate advertising. It purports to “expose the methods of domination” of mass society to foster progressive change.[5]
Culture jamming is a form of subvertising.[6] Many culture jams are intended to expose apparently questionable political assumptions behind commercial culture. Common tactics include re-figuring logos, fashion statements, and product images as a means to challenge the idea of “what’s cool” along with assumptions about the personal freedoms of consumption.[7]
Culture jamming sometimes entails transforming mass media to produce ironic or satirical commentary about itself, using the original medium’s communication method. Culture jamming is usually employed in opposition to a perceived appropriation of public space, or as a reaction against social conformity. Prominent examples of culture jamming include the adulteration of billboard advertising by the BLF and Ron English and the street parties and protests organised by Reclaim the Streets. While most culture jamming focuses on subverting or critiquing political or advertising messages, some practitioners focus on a more positive, musically inspired form of jamming that brings together artists, scholars and activists to create new forms of cultural production that transcend rather than merely criticize or negate the status quo.[8]

The Oscars had really great ratings this year. Sadly FREEPERS thought they would tank because they boycotted them. I wonder what percentage of FREEPERS compare to the general public. I thought we were a huge percentage of the population.
Interesting, I had never heard of it. But dont these latest messages seem too anti progressive and anti Obama to be culture jamming?

What comes around goes around.
Never underestimate the cynicism of our youth.
