Even worse, the Federal Government has evolved a PARALLEL criminal justice system. This is an underrated threat to our freedom. And it makes the concept of double jeopardy a joke. If the state fails to convict the Feds can take a shot at you for the same crime.

You may be a criminal without even knowing it.

I personally believe that's why some of these laws are deliberately vague.

In a recent case, a man convicted of improperly disposing scrap tires was sentenced to 270 days in jail and a $10,000 fine.

Did he just fail to have the proper paperwork or did he dump a truckload of a thousand tires on someone else's land forcing the victim to deal with the mess?

The writer appears to be making the misguided assumption that law is written in order to promote justice and fairness and to ensure the well-being of the citizens and nation.

Law has largely been corrupted in our nation, written to give power and cover to some and to ensure non-compliance of the rest . . . just in case Big Brother needs to keep someone or some group quiet and in line.

I ping this to you, Pat, as I know you’ve actually done something about preventing additional laws upon laws.

Herein is ammunition for the fight.

The intention is to make it possible to prosecute anyone for any reason at all.

Kinda like the “disorderly conduct” charge.
