Even worse, the Federal Government has evolved a PARALLEL criminal justice system. This is an underrated threat to our freedom. And it makes the concept of double jeopardy a joke. If the state fails to convict the Feds can take a shot at you for the same crime.

There was a case in Detroit a few years ago where a guy came home from work and found 3 men breaking into his house for a 3rd time in a week. He chased them and caught the slowest one and killed him.

The judge was very lenient and gave him something like 18 months in jail. She equated it to a rancher facing an ongoing threat from predators.

The feds stepped in and gave him 15 years on some idiotic federal weapons charge.

Absolutely. It is further evidence of how far FedGov has slipped it boundaries.
