Glad to see that Bob Barr is running in Georgia to return the House. Unmentioned in the article is that Barr first attained national attention in 1998 when he was one of the leading House case managers on the Clinton impeachment.
So it's not surprising that he's talking about a prospective Obama impeachment as well.

… he was one of the leading House case managers on the Clinton impeachment.

There are a lot of sensible voters in his district (am one of them) and, at the moment, I will say he has a very good chance of regaining the office.

What is particularly encouraging is that Barr understands the bulk of the effort will be to achieve a conviction in the senate. The Republican Senate leadership cut the legs out from under the House the last time around - it did not want to give Gore the advantage of campaigning while sitting in the Oval Office. If the Dems happen to hold the senate on this occasion, Bob Barr is most likely to go forward with such a strong case that all but the most liberal Dems will have to convict.

The challenge will be in the timing - to either gain a conviction or a resignation (IMO more likely) just days before the next presidential election.
