Arizona Republicans have increasing contempt for Senator John McCain.

And no wonder. After shameful betrayals on everything from amnesty to ObamaCare to the Muslim Brotherhood, John McCain was recently dealt an unprecedented censure by the Arizona GOP.

McCain was humiliated in the national press as elected state committeemen assembled at the annual Statutory Meeting of the State Committee of the Arizona Republican Party and voted to censure him. Two weeks earlier, Maricopa County Republican elected precinct committeemen also voted to censure John McCain. That resolution, expressing deep dissatisfaction with Arizona’s senior senator, passed overwhelmingly — by a vote of 1,150 to 351.

Today a poll confirms what the censures first suggested: if McCain is planning another run at the Senate -- as he recently indicted he would -- he may be in for a world of hurt.

Palin would never run against mccain.

“...At this time, it’s perplexing to see Senator McCain’s good efforts to uncover
the Obama agenda being ignored and perhaps even hindered now by those wanting to
censure the Arizona senator,” Palin wrote.

As a Zonie, I’ll tell you. We have the illegals voting Dem. We have the Cali transplants of which there are many, voting anywhere from Dem to “moderate” Republican. And we have a bunch of natives/long term transplants who believe the stupidity that the Dem is worse than a backstabbing fool like McCain.

So rather than vote for what they claim to believe in, they abandon principle and go for the ‘win’.

Look what we won.

All of the RINO crew will IMMEDIATELY go scorched earth as soon as one of their darlings gets primaried.

Such is the benefit of electing unprincipled idiots.

If he chooses to retire, she would likely get the nomination.

If memory serves last time he was primaried, he spent 23 million on just the primary. (Typically, a successful Senate candidate spends 10 million on the actual election.) So, he could be really unpopular and still get reelected.

Yes, but remember that he stole $18 million of that from his leftover 2012 coffers (unethically, and using a tactic that 'McCain-Feingold' would have banned).

He isn’t any different today than he was at the time of his last run. He is just more transparent in his lunacy.

Thanks for the info. I have to fight off feelings of despair too frequently anymore.

At least here in Michigan the long struggle looks to be bearing fruit, or should I say the long suffering looks to be easing in our state.

He is going to run again. Getting his blood pressure up with censures, calling for his arrest and using Syrian clergy to upset him is a good idea in the long term of getting McCain out of office.

If Wil Cardon beat Jeff Flake maybe McCain would have someone to replace him.

Maybe Scott Smith can replace McCain.

I think Flake was a bigger mistake than McCain.

There was speculation by Numbersusa that Harry Reid had 59 Dream Act votes in 2010. If McCain had lost the primary he definitely would have given Reid the 60th for 2 million Dreamers.

McCain voted conservative for a few months.

Nope...judging from the stupid post she put on Facebook I think she'll probably endorse him again.
