In light of the fact that the video link above was a hoax, set forth originally by The Onion, does anyone have any additional information H.R. 8791? The Bill does in fact exist and the footage is from separate legislation and the audio was doctored... However, a secret "blackout" meeting for HR8791 did take place.

The Bible says in Proverbs 11:14, "For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers"... (sad to ponder the clear and present truth behind these words btw), so in essence we can collectively debunk and arrive to the true meaning of the information being propagated out there, whether it be false or true. Nothing is happenstance in this day in age and everything is monitored and weighed carefully as it relates to information. Everything is coldly calculated in other words.... can anyone share some thoughts on this or related topics please my freeper brethren?

Thank you US Navy Vet!! I do subscribe the notion that only the King James Version of the Bible is not doctored by deceivers, who mis-conveyed key portions of the three main strands of the Bible translations to the present common languages, particularly English, during Middle Ages.
Thanks again for calling me on it. I will only post KJV portions of scripture to retain fidelity to the true meaning of the Inspired Word.

It would be a little helpful to know what the bill is about, otherwise it’s just another blind YouTube link that I won’t click.
The link in the Onion source hyperlink is the original hoax bill video that is supposedly about legislating funding for an emergency situation involving, at the very least, flesh eating bacteria outbreaks and at the very worst “otherworldly” threats. The you tube link in the comment section is another video relating to a congressman’s questioning of the supposed secret blackout meeting’s topics in question, which is apparently unprecedented for congress to call a preliminary secret meeting prior to legislation of a bill, which is also unconstitutional.
Can you please share either publicly or by private response, why you are hesitant to just click on a link on this forum? I think they do a pretty good job of shutting out obvious infractions of their sharing policy...
I can only think of two reasons why you wouldn’t and just making sure I am not ignorant of all possible scenarios.
I’m not a big fan of blind YouTube links because, unless I watch and listen to the video, I can’t find out what it’s about (there aren’t comments in the caption). My hearing is poor, and the CC on YouTube is usually quite...useless. If it isn’t worth writing down, then it’s usually not worth my effort trying to decode it.
If this is part of a blog it’s sometimes, but not usually better. If you notice, the link says “YouTube” so I am making an assumption it’s a blind YouTube link.
It’s purely my personal pet peeve.
