As you said to me, end of the week, first of month, EBT cards are spinning, financial news bad, now three bankers dead, Super Bowl, too, powder has already been mailed to hotels near the Super Bowl but were checked out and supposed to be “harmless”. Perhaps be watchful/aware this weekend.
I'm more worried about whether we get rain or not.

Now that’s a definite concern for sure. Got to have rain.
Did you cash out a 401k early to fund the move?
We had rented in Seattle for the last 10 years because it was FAR cheaper to rent than to own. Before that I lived in a house I owned for 18 years but was kicked out of due to a divorce. I’ve lived in MUCH nicer houses ever since, renting in every case (for half what a mortgage +taxes would have been).
And I just used the money I saved as a down payment on the place. And the extra 20 acres I picked up last summer was 40% of the cost of the first 12 acres (only a barn and corn crib on it). Much nicer land but no house.
BTW, some pictures of myself and my wife on the place: http://s409.photobucket.com/user/robbbb4/slideshow/Kentucky%20home
In the Kenya Mall shooting the final microbiologist was taken out.
I just learned that along with having a Chinese New Year Day apart from our January 1st, there is a Satan’s New Year Day. February 1.
The lady on the tractor is the absolute spitting image of my younger sister...to the point of mildly unsettling I might add! If I posed my sister the same way we'd both have trouble identifying who was who! Just wow!
Nice place BTW!
My son has been in Beijing for five weeks making a film and is going home to London this coming Monday.
He just sent me an email with a picture of the first baby born there on their New Year's Day. It's a pretty baby in a crib with pink on the baby so the first baby this year is a female and those people/govn. don't care for female babies.
Welcome to God's country. Our "sister" state is truly a wonderful place. Oddly enough these are two states (WV & KY) that generally have good relationships outside of H.S. football teams.
Yes I remember the scientists dropping like flies, especially that one Harvard guy who went to present his research at St. Jude Hospital and he was evidently thrown off of a bridge into a river.
Something is about to pop and I hope and pray it is just some stupid derivative issue again.
I have a Silverado Z71 4wd extended cab. ;-)
It is essential. The road to that smaller plateau in the picture is really only passable with my tractor and pickup.
The wood is so valuable on that barn that I’m seriously thinking of pulling it all off and replacing with sheet metal. We’d also concrete the interior floor (I just verbed a noun, btw). Basically we’d seal the whole thing as a sheet metal building.
After we bought the place I found out the owner had completely rebuilt the bottom two feet of all the poles about 8 years ago. That thing will be standing a long time.
I added a photo of the pickup to the slideshow. It was when the creek by our house flooded. It gives you an idea of why we need the pickup. We get that kind of flooding of the bridge about 1.5 times a year. But it never lasts longer than part of a day, and we have a back entrance that can bypass it if we absolutely HAVE TO get to Wal-Mart for a loaf of bread.
And that is our driveway and house at the top of the picture.
And it's why they're trying to get rid of the death penalty for treason.
