Rand Paul and Ted Cruz Tell Sean Hannity: We'll "Stay Out Of Any GOP Primary"
http://wp.me/p1kzlW-jNW @TheLastRefuge2
Yes, Cornyn is, he’s my senator and hopefully not for much longer. It is Coburn of Oklahoma that has cancer and isn’t running. Prayers for him and his family.
I picked this article because there are quotes from Cruz and it also shows that this isn’t something new or a recent deal Cruz made with somebody.
Coburn, from OK has cancer and isn't running, Cornyn, from TX, has hoof and mouth disease, and is running.
I say boy, ya'll gots your pesky senators mixed up.
Paul has already hopped aboard the McC bandwagon.
say it ain’t so rand. you’re going to back mcconnell by omission?
and cruz, we need to get rid of cornyn almost as bad as mcconnell. what gives?
i hope this is wrong.
REGARDLESS of who is in the White House, FedGov grows bigger, stronger, and takes more of our freedom away. Regardless of the occupant, FedGov spends more, spies on its citizens more, blows up more people, and infringes more fundamental rights for more citizens.
So, if I'm hearing you correctly, right now it's 1775 and counting.
“Voting is IRRELEVENT at the Federal level now.”
No, I disagree with your opinion. Who we elect is very, VERY relevant at this point in time.
Many of the Federal Government departments are basically unconstitutional. We have been pouring tax revenue into departments that should not exist at the Federal level. The result has been bloated bureaucracies, primarily made-up of Democrats pulling down above-average incomes and costing the taxpayer money better spent by their own state governments. That is where the need is greatest.
If we want to survive as a nation we must change the way Congress operates and downsize the Federal Government. That can be achieved by voting certain people out of office and voting in conservatives who understand what must be done.
The starting point should be what the U.S. Constitution states clearly: those areas of power granted to the Federal Government. Everything else are powers which the several States can claim. No state has rights - only Citizens have inalienable rights.
Right now lawlessness is spreading across the nation and our Republicans are not addressing it. They should be shouting about it and aiming the message directly at those communities - Latinos and Blacks - most affected by criminal activity. High level and government criminals must be pursued, something that the House of Reps is NOT doing. I believe Speaker Boehner is blocking actions to pursue government criminality. He must be removed, preferably from Congress all together.
BarnOwl is a kook. Forget her.
I think they are talking about endorsing people who are running in this year’s primaries.
Barnhardt lost a lot of her credibility when she sided with the Gays, Globalists, and Soros on the Ukraine issue....even claimed Russia was “the anti-Christ” while they are having a Orthodox Christian revival there.
Obama and the IRS must have got to her....
Its too late Paul endorsed McConnell already. But Bevin is going to crush Ditch anyway.
Cruz & Paul are keeping their powder dry staying out of the primaries. They can’t survive as viable POTUS candidates being under a sustained Dem/RINO/MSM cross fire on a consistent basis.
Conservatives have to pick our battles and right now it is immigration. Cruz unloaded on Boehner today. He is still all in, don’t worry.
I have friends who are immigrants from Ukraine and they tell me the situation is not a simple one with easy answers - they say they are choosing between evils.
Putin may not be the anti-Christ but he is a psychopath and has ordered the murders of many people. You are full of BS.
Don’t ever contact me again.
Ted Cruz fired a shot across John Cornyn's bow about six weeks back, when he said that he wouldn't be getting involved in any incumbent races. It's an offhand way of saying that he's NOT giving Cornyn (his fellow Senator from Texas) his endorsement.
Ted is much beloved by the Republican/Tea Party right in this state, and they will no doubt read that as a thumbs down on Cornyn's re-election. Cornyn has responded by spending mega bucks on a slew of sappy commercials which attempt to frame him as "a true conservative for Texas".
He's not fooling anyone except the low infos, and most of them are Dems.
I've been saying it for a while now. Rand Paul is 'going native'. Faster than I expected, too.
Cruz, as promised, is maintaining his distance from Cornyn.
There are so many disillusioned people on BOTH sides of the aisle, I believe a third party might just be what we need.
Yeah, too bad you don't have any real choice about who is elected. Did you want Romney? McCain? These are the kind of people you're going to get from now on. At this point, Federal power base is completely unchallenged by voting.
There are other ways to challenge the Federal tyrants. Most of them involve state-level action.
State-level action is a great place to effect change. That is what I suggested, if you carefully reread what I wrote.
Who we send to Congress matters, and he/she should be a part of the changes forming within a state.
I definitely did not want Romney. He was a self-avowed Progressive and I repeated that over and over on FR before the election. The only reason I voted for McCain was Palin.
The problem, as I see it, is those people who perceive themselves as “world citizens” and a global elite run businesses. They have an unusually strong influence on agriculture, industry, and construction sectors. Most of them seem to be in charge of large corporations and are remote from the average American. They use us for their own ends - international security for their corporations - and don’t give a damn about our God-given rights.
Didn’t Rand already endorse Midge? Thought I’d read that here/somewhere.
