A Palin/Clinton head to head would probably cause you at least some angst over who to vote for, loyalty to their man being the only thing that counts.

How about a Palin/Clinton ticket?   The way I formated my comments, you may have thought I was trying to suggest a Palin/Clinton ticket, when I actually meant them being the nominee of their own party, and running against each other.

The way I took your response, was that you morphed my intended focus to one of your own, for the sake of humor.  If I am wrong, go ahead and correct me.

Look, a Clinton/Almost Anything short of Obama ticket, would be the worst I could think of.  Gag me to the X.

(That'd be the Democrat ticket, the Republican would -undoubtedly- be worse, like: Christie/Snowe.)

Honestly, I would hate the Christie/Snowe ticket too, because they would be doing a myriad of very Leftist things during their four years.  And worse yet, those Leftist things would be done under the (R) label, practically destroying our brand in the process.

That was my big probem with Bush (the most recent).

That's pretty much it.

I can think of worse… I think the Republican-party would do its best in that respect, too.

Destroying? I think that's the wrong tense — destroyed seems more appropriate… esp. with amnesty being talked about.
The Republican party convinced me it was about nothing that it claims to be, and cemented that with their anointing Romney (retroactive primary rule-changes, RNC, etc) for 2012.
