In a culture where premarital sex (fornication, that ignored sin) has been utterly normalised to the point where it has become part of the growing experience of the average individual, don’t expect political dividend from criticising the same.
Gov. Huckabee and the writer make very valid points regarding the dependency younger American women have on the government for every need in their lives, especially contraceptives which are opposed by many churches and the Pro Life Movement.
The GOP in the 2014 and 2016 elections must accentuate these facts in their campaigns and speak of the correlation between the Democratic Party, the party’s advocacy young women engaging premarital sex which leads to abortion and contraceptive use all funded largely by the tax payer.
In many respects, the relationship between the Democratic Party and young single women is akin to that of John and prostitute.
The Democrats condone and finance their premarital sex and the young women vote Democrat.
Until women can produce children with zero genetic material from men, I will continue to speak on “reproductive rights”.

I have no problem with this column, except for the following point: suppose we actually achieve this nirvana of all our women being at home, barefoot and pregnant, cooking and cleaning and all that. What happens if a woman’s husband passes, and there’s nobody else who can take care of her? Wouldn’t it make sense for her to be able to function independently, i.e. hold down a job, have her own income, learn how to hunt, etc., even if that means some women become CEOs, boardroom Presidents, engineers, etc.? (And more power to ‘em!)
