The UES wasnt the only area in Manhattan that wasnt plowed; in fact, as of 4:00 p.m. yesterday, it is KNOWN that most of the area shown in red in the following map was NOT plowed not even once:

The traffic on all major avenues in the red area was pretty much at standstill. Now, in fairness, I dont know if all of the areas in green was plowed but someone ought to know.
If the UES wasnt plowed when, for instance, the UWS was, itd seem that Kaiser Wilhelm II wasnt going after just the 1 percenters but everyone in blocks upon blocks of Manhattan where he LOST the vote. In the red area of the Manhattan map at the link, there are many hospitals, schools and so on.
Kaiser, you are nothing but a scumbag because either you did this deliberately or else you need to learn very quickly; however, you probably lack the ability to do so. I am sure the sanitation guys (yes, your union buddies) were only too happy to wait to get the avenues done overnight because of the overtime! Investigation, anyone? Naw, this is NYC

Er, yes!
Sadly, this would probably does not apply to NYC.
I agree. BUT, the mayor playing games results in a windfall for his union friends - just a small scale repayment for their support, you see.
Kaiser Wilhelm! LOL
Clever name for Mr. Wilhelm.
I expect that they’ll leave town before it gets to this and we’ll see if the re-dsitributors can figure out why.
Is this for real because I simply can’t believe it!
Seems like a good explanation!
Who needs it is a good question. I think some people are just naturally inclined to want to stay in a place they are comfortable in; some prefer the suburbs, some cities. I believe at some point though, like Hannity, one has to weigh the circumstances and answer the question sincerely.
Actually, some did. But, according to the map I linked to, most people on the UES and some further south (not just the rich) did NOT vote for him and this may be the real reason for the payback.
The storm will be Ross Perot’s “giant sucking sound” as most folks leave and then the mayor will have no one left to tax but the middle clase and then no one at all until we get to Detroit. I hope I am wrong.
Yep! Thanks.
Isn’t this the sort of thing that they say got Chris Christie in trouble?
Sure it is. But, like everything else, who is going to do something about it?
Yes! Great for property values in suburbia!
Oh, so that would mean he’s pull a Christi (Fort Lee traffic)!
When will this be dubbed “Plowgate”? or must the mayor be republican?
One positive way to look at all this.
It’d appear so.
Heh! I wouldn’t hold my breath; you’ve nailed it.
