be careful of the <=$100 guns as many if not most of them have pressed on not threaded barrels and iirc can develop head space problems...

Oh I had nor have any interest in the SKS. I do kick myself for not buying a bunch of LESS than $100 guns. SMLEs were going for around $50-$75 15 years ago.
Shoulda woulda coulda.
