The country is under attack by a record breaking cold wave with subzero temperatures we haven't heard about since, well...the first half of the twentieth century, which must seem strange to all you well coddled millennials out there, but yes....it use to get really...really cold when I was growing up in the 1950s.
And wait until you hear what it was like when my father was growing up in the 1920s and the local salt water river that flows into the city from the Atlantic froze solid. But I know its hard to conceive of something like that when all you ever learned from science class was the importance of "recycling our trash" because of the evil oil companies and those stupid conservatives.

His mention of Sean Hannity and how much he hates FR just confirms to me that Hannity is a RepubbieINO and a ConservativeINO.
Not fair. Sean Hannity was and still is always called brainless or low IQ or stupid here. Free Republic - and I love the place - can give some people some kind of “I can be mean because I’m among friends here “ cloak. They trash sean hannity for his intelligence or other defaults in how he talks, argues, etc. he is never give credit for the fact that he is the only true CONSERVATIVE out there fighting on TV. Very few others - and he has his own show and in unabashedly on the right. To me he is a hero. He is taking slings and arrows; he isn’t hiding in his compound or behind his screen.
Every day, he was slammed for being stupid on FR. If that happened to you, wouldn’t you hate it here? Be honest.
What difference does it make what your IQ is or isn’t, when you are a killer bulldog for our side, doing your best, some 18 hrs a day??

The respect is simply shilling for things some people have a nostalgic attachment to.
Even though the old newspapers have largely become semi literate cummunist propaganda rags, people with a lifetime of fond memories are loathe to let go. No matter how much hypocrisy, nastiness, and unprovoked personal attacks they need engage in to try to prop them up.
And oh how they explode in self righteous indignation if you stick up for the target of their zealous rants.
I’ve never called Hannity brainless or stupid. I think that he is a compromiser, and he has a lot of “friends” who are leftists and
to whom he gives a microphone to spout their leftist nonsense, which he sometimes has difficulty refuting.
He has called on Conservatives to “apologize” for something that they said, and it has been so long ago, I forget who it was and
what was said, but I do know that it was very annoying to me to hear him insist that some creepy leftist was owed an apology
because a Conservative confronted the leftist with the truth.
That was the final straw for me with Hannity.
Well that and that vile, bland coffee he was pushing. We tried it once. Anyway, that was how long ago it was.
Give that rant on his blog a careful reading around where he posted the graphics. He thinks those are actually pictures of YOU! (That's why he keeps referring to all three of you as "she" and "her.")
His blog is now "under reconstruction" but in his header he still refers to it as a "sight."

I’m not a Hannity fan per se, but to be fair to him, his negative comment about FR occurred many years ago. It was the result of his friendship with Connie H (FReeper CAL) at a time when she and JR were having issues, as I recall.
Sometime in the past year Hannity made a different statement on his radio show. He was talking about what his main “go to” websites were. He listed Drudge as #1, and included FreeRepublic in his top 3.
The blog troll has apparently stumbled across some very old, outdated information and is running with it. He’s trying to do that at the expense of not only FR, but Sean Hannity.

And no, I’m not giving Pajamaboy the web hit for his “sight”.
