Apparently some of the DUmmies think that the southern hemisphere is on a different planet. It is summer down there and winter up here, is that too complicated for them?

What would really screw them up is the knowledge that the earth is closer to the sun when it’s winter in the northern hemisphere. Our winter coincides with perigee when the earth is nearly 4 million miles closer to the sun.
