This is not a “stinging defeat.” What is the current position but the same place that Phil was in before he was suspended? What was gained? Nothing, only a couple of weeks was lost. A&E is still as condemning of Phil’s statements, as is GLAAD, and they will likely try to make a mockery of him going forward.

Wake up, conservatives!!!!

These guys are a paper tiger. It only takes a couple of people to stand up to them and more and more will follow. They have to silence anyone who says the Emperor has no clothes to keep up the charade.

May this be the first of many.

Agreed. Plus there are going to be PSAs made now. We have to wait and see what’s in these PSAs.

I disagree with you. The “Duck Dynasty” empire is in a better position right now than it was before this whole thing began. I don’t even like the damn show but I’ll go out of my way to support these guys.

A&E is still as condemning of Phil’s statements, as is GLAAD, and they will likely try to make a mockery of him going forward.

The whole premise of doing Duck Dynasty in the first place was to make a mockery of people like Robertson and his "ilk". A&E had hoped to make money on a show that would mock Christian values and instead they made a fortune promoting the values they originally intended to mock.

This whole GQ interview was a setup by A&E to try to keep the show, but change the direction away from the values of its patriarch.

Now A&E has opened up a new can of worms. The queer lobby has gone a bridge too far and people are not only fed up, but taking public stands against the tyranny of political correctness.

Phil Robertson 2016!

They were taking too much heat. This is a way to get it out of the light and let people forget about it while making them believe a great victory was won, It’s just another way of controlling the herd. Edward Bernays (he should have been strangled at birth) would be proud.
