Fuddy’s deputy director, Keith Yamamoto, told the priest (who gave last rites to Fuddy afterwards)that he had held Fuddy’s hand to help calm her down, until she let go and became unresponsive. She was distressed before she had any time to have physical effects from the water. She did not die of drowning. She died or became responsive BEFORE drifting off, so no, she was not treading water at any time and the drifting happened without any action on her part.

I doubt you or her deputy are medical professionals qualified to make that call. I’ll wait to hear it from someone life, you know, the medical examiners. Until then, it remains a more likely possibility than political hit squad.

I’m sorry, can you point out to me where you are listed as one of the passengers or rescuers in a news story, since you obviously were at the scene to know that Fuddy never was treading water?
