I wonder whether the real intent is to get all decent people to quit or not join so that the army ends up with the worst of the worst....an army that would shoot grandma as soon as it would shoot a terrorist.

There are just too many negative things happening for it to all be due to stupidity. Even a stupid man will occasionally do the right thing due to the percentages involved in multiple choice.

A heated discussion? I would be willing to bet it was an outright old fashioned, knock down, drag out shouting match, that could have easily come to blows. Many of these people are quite passionate about what they believe.

Have the goons in the equal opportimty swaud order similar limitations of other greetings which by thier nature might be construed to be exclusionary or offensive? I saw no mention of there being a ban on saying Happy Hanukkah nor Happy Kwanzaa although kwanzaa isn’t even a holiday in any real sense.

Im offended by Happy Holidays...given that the plural use of the term holiday renders such a greeting meaningless.

That's on every US Government calendar.
