Maybe there is some confusion with understanding Beck’s comments and how they pertain to what is law in Russia.

I myself heard Jesse say the Germans were very nice to him including surprisingly, Hitler. He said a German long jumper helped him qualify for the long jump by putting a tape down around a foot behind the board. Jesse had scratched twice and a third would have eliminated him. The German jumper told him that he could qualify easily by jumping from behind the board which was true. He did it, qualified and won.
