Rush is pointing out that he’s stayed out of this fray. Which is the same as saying he’s now irrelevant.

RE :”Rush Limbaugh on Monday speculated that the
“Republican establishment may in fact be so desirous of getting rid of the Tea Party as its base,
they may be willing to lose some elections in order to get rid of their base and put up a new base.”

When the GOP picks up seats in next years 2014 elections Rush will be spinning a whole different theme.

Boehner has come to appreciate what immigrants bring to this country...

“they may be willing to lose some elections in order to get rid of their base and put up a new base”

I don’t doubt they might be this dumb, but where do they think a “new base” will materialize from?

I will never again vote for a Republican.

I will vote for a conservative.

If this results in a liberal takeover, so be it.

We’re long overdue for Revolution II, and Jefferson had it right when he stated that these things are needed every so often.

It’s pretty obvious the GOP-E doesn’t want conservatives dirtying up their party.

I think they’ll do everything the democrats have done and more if they think they can get away with it.

Louisiana Governor Piyush “Bobby’ Jindal is sacrificing the Republican contender to Mary Landrieu’s seat, for just this reason.

Rush is right.

what the GOP doesn’t get, even now, even after the loss Romney and Ryan got, even after watching Ryan turn on the military, vindicating all those who did not vote for him and his partner in wimpy sleazedom, Romney, is that the Tea Party will now most definitely NOT vote for another such dolt they present to them, at the expense of having even another Obama.

What difference would it have made?

Ryan is actually taking away promised and counted upon benefits to the military, placing this into some welfare category.

It is very bad

I believe that Tammy Faye has poured gas on the Tea Party fire and we are going to see conservatives take a lot of seats in 2014.

In GA we have RINO Chambliss retiring and Dr. Paul Broun a hair on fire conservative running for that seat. I feel pretty sure he will win and in 2016 we are going to primary Isakson our other RINO senator.

Too much booze has made Boehner brave. I don’t think he has the votes in the House for Immigration/Amnesty.

“Republican establishment may in fact be so desirous of getting rid of the Tea Party as its base, they may be willing to lose some elections in order to get rid of their base and put up a new base.”

Some people here are ready to grant their wish. They don't fathom that once their base is gone, there aren't enough liberals left to build them a new one.

This is what it comes down to: a) there is a TEA Party candidate opposing Boehner in the primary. Should Boehner lose the primary, expect a Mike Castle response and have GOP-e vote Democratic. OR Should Boehner win the primary, Conservatives should vote Democratic.

GOP-e wants to lose elections, let’s start with Boehner. Boehner must not be allowed to be reelected Speaker.

It profits a man nothing to gain the whole world and lose his soul. It profits him even less to lose both.

"May be"??? They're already visibly working on it. There is a huge recruitment drive going on in colleges right now. I've received at least four phone calls. They're baiting the kids with fighting ZeroCare, and marginalizing conservatives as extreme over gay marriage.

The Republican Party will go as far as it has to get rid of the Tea Party. The problem is not that the Republican Party is getting rid of the Tea Party. The problem is that the Tea Party won’t get rid of the Republican Party.

The GOP in Iowa is floating a plank of the party position that supports gay marriage, amnesty, and gun control.

They (the GOP) really wants to be the Dems.

Boehner thinks he’s in a private club - with maybe a few thousand members... members who all agree with him. Seems he has delusions of being an elite... what a fool.
