We could use ANOTHER 700 new republican legislators across the country to put these things into action!

Wait till Loveable Lindsey tells them they must comply because “Obamacare is the law of the land”.

When Obamacare was approved by Marxist Pelosi’s House and Marxist Reid’s Senate, American voter opposition polled at 80% against Obamacare.

Marxist Democrats en masse, and True Democrats Boehner and McConnell, have consistently opposed every serious attempt to abolish Obamacare.

Federal politicians today ask: “What can I do to control everybody to think and act they way that I do?”

Federal politicians today seldom ask: “What is best for America?”

Small-minded Federal Politicians tend to work on problems that their tiny brains can handle, such as light bulb control, and ignore huge problems, such as how to live within one’s means.

Running on “pocketbook” ideas, such as lightbulbs, Obamacare, National Debt increases, etc., etc. will leave “both” political political parties exposed to voter wrath, IF the voters can be convinced that Federal politicians in “both” political parties must be held accountable for their actions and inactions.

IMHO, that is a long way off, as political party loyalty is very strong today in our politically polarized America, where the dominant idea of the voter is: “Everything would be wonderful if only the OTHER political party would just agree with MY political party.”

I don’t think people really get how bad this law is. Especially if you have employer coverage. People don’t realize that if they lose their employer subsidized coverage they will be paying astronomical premiums and deductibles for much less coverage. I was just curious to see what it would cost if my husband and I reitred early moved down to Lee county in Florida full time and bought our own insurance. Total sticker shock.

and yet once again, another part of the brilliant roberts ruling comes into play...

unfunded mandates to the states..

in roberts ruling, the feds can no longer issue unfunded mandates to the states, such as fubocare...

once the people wake up and actually read his ruling, they will be amazed that the so called conservative media has just plain old not bothered to mention the sheer brilliance of this ruling, and the impact it will have in dismantling the liberal agenda..

I wonder if minimally productive people will move from nullification states to ObamaCare states, and if medical professionals and the more productive people will move to nullification states. I would love to see a “race to the top/bottom” situation in which leftist states receive exactly what they deserve.

If any state does follow SC’s lead, I’m betting the next one will be Texas.

The only problem is even if South Carolina opts out and a SX resident wants to buy insurance on their own directly from the insurance company, they will still be subject to obamacare prices. I checked the insurance market for myself individually and the selections are still labeled with the silver, gold platinim crap and high prices. They are all coded that way now. There is not way around be impacted. obamacare needs to be totally repealed. It is a horror show and the worst of it hasn’t really even kicked in.

Texas legislature is not now in session, is it? Will Gov. Perry call for a special session? My hope is that Texas will be following the lead of S.C.

How about insurance companies operating only in “nullified” states?

I’m not sure. I just checked individual plans in Florida (not through obamacare). And the prices were unbelievable. I currently have Cigna through my employer so I checkws Cigna on the individual market. For two 60-year old non-smokers the gold plan is $1800 per month with a $6,500 deductible plus 20% out of pocket on almost everything. A hospital stay will cost you $1,000 per day for a hospital NOT of your choice. And this is the GOLD plan! It’s appalling. People should be screaming from the rafters demanding impeachment.

When the employer mandate kicks in, a lot of people are going to lose their employer provided and/or subsidized insurance.
