There’s a sense of power and a sense of dread I have with it. In my many years as an engineer, I’ve always found Windows to use the same formula, so when you need something, it’s generally in the same place from OS to OS.

However, with Linux, there are different distros and different ways of doing everything. While I find something simple in one distro, another distro might be perplexing and frustrating (I’m looking at you update.RC!).

That is actually a great point.. (talking open source, and always changing)..

heck, been sitting here for about 5 minutes traying to think of a good reason to even USE Win (no idea about Mac).. only thing I can think of, is if you are wanting to play Win Games.. sometimes I do, but in this day and age, I hold back :p

Maybe, once every 2 (or so) months, I will jump on Win to play a game (when I get extremely bored)... :p I used to hack DOS games :p
