Union front groups are planning more than 1,500 protests at Walmarts nationwide on Black Friday despite lacking significant support from actual employees, critics say.
The Organization United for Respect at Walmart (OUR Walmart), a self-proclaimed subsidiary of the United Food and Commercial Workers retail union (UFCW), says it will picket 1,500 stores the day after Thanksgiving, one of the largest shopping days of the year.
“Associates do stick together and look out for each other. We have to because Walmart and the Waltons seem to be fine with the financial struggles that we’re all facing,” Colorado Walmart employee Barbara Gertz said in an OUR Walmart release. “We’re are all in the same situation, one that Walmart creates by paying us poverty wages.”
Gertz appears to represent a small minority of Walmart’s 1.3 million employees. OUR Walmart’s 2012 Black Friday protest featured thousands of demonstrators, but less than 50 actual associates, according to the company. Labor watchdogs expect more of the same this year, especially because the worker center keeps focusing on the number of protests, rather than the number of employee dissidents.

Sounds like a time for lots of Breitbarts with video cams to interview protesters. Some of the protesters are bound to tell the truth about why they are there and how much they are getting paid and who is paying them.
Maybe that will be a great day to walk over the union goons to support Walmart.
I doubt if they will come to our Walmart store, and if they do, they will be treated respectfully and ignored.

They are adjusted according to income. They may range from as
low as 2 cents a week to $15 a week with special assessments in addition.
46. What do you have to promise?
To carry out Communist Party orders promptly. To submit with-
out question to Party decisions and discipline.
To work for “The triumph of Soviet power in the United States.”
47. After you join, what do you have to do?
You have to obey the Party in all things. It may tell you to change
your home, your job, your husband, or wife. It may order you to lie,
steal, rob, or to go out into the street and fight.

day of your life.
When you become a Communist, you become a revolutionary agent,
under a discipline more strict than the United States Army, Navy,
Marines, or Air Force have ever known.
48. Why do people become Communists then?
Basically, because they seek power and recognize the opportunities
that Communism offers the unscrupulous.
But no matter why a particular person becomes a Communist,
every member of the Party must be regarded the same way, as one seek-
ing to overthrow the Government of the United States.

The real center of power in Communism is within the professional
classes.
Of course, a few poor people respond to the Communist claim that
it is a “working class movement.”
But taken as a whole the Party depends for its strength on the sup-
port it gets from teachers, preachers, actors, writers, union officials,
doctors, lawyers, editors, businessmen, and even from millionaires.
30. Can you quit being a Communist when you want to?
The Communists regard themselves as being in a state of actual
war against life as the majority of Americans want it.
Therefore, Party members who quit or fail to obey orders are
looked on as traitors to the “class war” and they may expect to suffer
accordingly when and as the Party gets around to them.
31. How does the Communist Party of the United States work,
day by day?
The Communist Party of the United States works inside the law
and the Constitution, and outside the law and the Constitution with
intent to get control any way it can.
32. What are some types of Communist activities within the
law?
Working their way into key positions in the schools, the churches,

the labor unions, and farm organizations. Inserting Communist
propaganda into art, literature, and entertainment. Nominating or^
seeking control of candidates for public office. The immediate objec-
tive of the Communist Party is to confuse and divide the majority so 1
that in a time of chaos they can seize control.
33. What are some types of Communist activities outside the law?
Spying, sabotage, passport fraud, perjury, counterfeiting, rioting,
disloyalty in the Army, Navy and Air Force.

Communist Party?

One who sympathizes with the Party’s aims and serves the Party’s

Vital. The fellow traveler is the HOOK with which the Party
reaches out for funds and respectability and the WEDGE that it drives
between people who try to move against it.
61 . What is a Communist front?
An organization created or captured by the Communists to do
the Party’s work in special fields. The front organization is Com-
munism’s greatest weapon in this country today and takes it places it
could never go otherwise — among people who would never willingly
act as Party agents.
It is usually found hiding among groups devoted to idealistic activi-

As much as I dislike the Walmart experience,

I work at Target. FINALLY, after months, our sales are on the upswing. This is a GOOD thing!!! I’m salaried, so I might even get my bonus for working long hours all year.
Our store doesn’t open until 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Who cares ....most of the relatives have gone home by then. And then in will come the young parents and others who may not otherwise be able to afford crap for their kids or whomever and LOVE these black Friday deals.
I just commented on the FB post of my deranged liberal uncle who is posting on the evils of Target and Wal-Mart being open. I kindly reminded him I work there, and I am thankful their sales are going to do well.

WalMart is so terrible that 23,000 people applied for the 600 available positions expected at new WalMarts planned for the DC area.
If they value their lives they had better not get in the way of the Gimmedats that are sitting outside the doors looking for bargains.
what skills does “Barbara” bring to the workplace?
Stocking shelves, punching a cash register, or icing cakes?
Even so if 2 Walmart workers are married to each other (ahem married) that effectively doubles those “poverty wages” and creates an entry to the lower middle class.
No one comments on the obvious when the single mother workers complain that the corporate world is keepin’ them down
