You know, it does sound like a sea story.
But the first time, of several, I heard him tell it was during the Summer and sitting at the outside patio bar at Sequoia on the Georgetown (DC) waterfront.
Us younger guys were marvelling at the boats pilling up with girl/guy ratios in the four or five to one range.
And the women on those boats were decidedly better looking, and less clothed, than the ones at the bar. And it being Sequoia in the Summertime that’s saying a lot!
There’s something about hot women and guys with boats ...
Here’s a sea story “offer” I never took up....
I was living on Escape Pod One back in the 80s in Fort Lauderdale with the Admiral.
Her gay hairdresser mentioned that he did the hair for the girls at the Cheetah Two Lounge or such. They wanted to get “over all tans” and he mentioned his acquaintance with a sailboat.
Somehow, my wife never took to the idea of our hauling a few strippers off shore during daytime hours for all-over tanning.
To this day I have no idea why not.
